It was February 12th, 2023, Super Bowl Sunday when I was forced to go the emergency room. I say forced because I very much did not want to go but my wife did not give me a choice. As I laid on the examination table it was only then that I had any acknowledgement that there was a sports match happening, let alone that my hometown team was playing.
