I have been a fan of TGUK, The New Amsterdam’s and most recently when I became a parent The Terrible Twos. So your music has shaped this angsty teenage girl to now a mother. I have been active in the repro rights community for quite some time here in Vegas and have held functions to help elect repro right champions into our local and federal offices and many times TGUK have been played during those events. So you are maybe a little bit political in that sense? Probably doesn’t make any sense but, it does to me. I was excited to see you were playing Bernie rally. Keep my fingers crossed you play a rally in Vegas! Happy to put something together if the opportunity is there!
Long time fan here. Probably in my top 5. Personally I think supporting Dem’s or Rep’s is a bad move for a band. I’ve disconnected from many bands because of their views. I just see them in a different frame of mind now when I’m listening. There is no right side to be on. The propaganda is to wild. Puppets say one think and act a different. Only tell you zoom out globally and go down rabbit hole after rabbit hole will you see we are all being played. History repeats and is manipulated. If those of the ruling class wanted everybody to live in harmony we would be. These days I long for lyrics that expose the preprogrammed narratives we are being fed to keep us all divided. Just my two cents from a guy who’s media consumption has changed dramatically over the last 8 years. Not a marketable view by any means lol
