If it provides any solace I thought you sounded great in Glasgow last night! Always a tough decision but seems like you made the right one. Most of us wouldn't be expected to work when ill - it shouldn't really be any different for musicians. Got to look after yourself.
Thank you for sharing.... By the title I really thought this was going somewhere else. But it was a good read. And save that title for something even more special! 😎
When I was in my early twenties, I'd come bruised from the barrier and full of stories about how my best friend, Chris, would always threaten to "go over the barrier" (and I'd yell back, "Good! Go! Get your sweaty face off of my FACE!"
I'M 40 now, and though sober, I have to use oxygen. The first TGUK I went to with oxygen was terribly embarrassing, and I told the staff, "I'm so sorry, there's nothing punk rock about an oxygen tank," and the girl paused before answering, "There is sort of nothing MORE punk than showing up no matter what."

Thanks for sharing this, Matt. It's always helpful to shine a light on mental health.
You sounded amazing in Glasgow and it was one of the best nights of my life hearing that album in full, it holds such significance for me.
Take it easy!
Rest up Matt 🖤🖤🖤
I laughed at the Cody Rhodes comment. I didn't expect you to be making WWE references, but I'm here for it.
